VICE PRESIDENT OF PRECONSTRUCTION – HVAC CONSTRUCTION

We’re searching for a visionary Vice President of Preconstruction to lead all estimating, design management, value engineering and collaboration with our business development team. You’ll shape company strategy, mentor top talent, and drive the innovation that defines our competitive edge.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Direct all preconstruction operations across markets and project types.

Lead bid/no-bid strategies, conceptual budgeting, and value engineering initiatives.

Partner with executive leadership and clients to secure profitable work.

Oversee estimating, design-assist, and design-build processes.

Manage department financials, staffing, and KPIs.

Mentor and develop preconstruction leaders and estimators.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

15+ years of HVAC/MEP experience, 7+ in preconstruction leadership.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.

Proven success leading estimating teams at a business unit or enterprise level.

Deep expertise in design-build, constructability, and cost modeling.

Strong client-facing, leadership, and strategic skills.
-
Preferred: PE, LEED AP, or equivalent credentials.
